Each year, PRSC is proud to celebrate the memory of Scott Wade with our annual Scott Wade Memorial Scholarships.  Scott was a graduate of Maine South High School and was involved in soccer on many levels.  He participated in youth soccer, varsity soccer at Maine South, and college soccer at St. Olaf College in Minnesota.  He also officiated many youth soccer games for PRSC.  While officiating a youth soccer game on June 17, 1996, he was tragically struck by lightning and killed.  That tragedy led PRSC and other Park Ridge Park District affiliates to contribute to the purchase and installation of our Thor Guard Lightning Prediction System.

PRSC is excited to announce Colin Schermerhorn and Ethan Kasicki are this year's winners. Colin has played soccer his whole life, served as a referree, and also servies as a volunteer with TOPSoccer. Colin mentioned that being a referee has enabled develop stronger leadership and communication skills. Ethan started playing soccer when he was five years old, volunteers as a TOPSoccer buddy, and serves as a referee. His time as a referee has taught him how to react quickly and communicate respectfully. Congratulations to Colin and Ethan!

Looking ahead to summer, we are excited to share the schedules for PRSC's summer camps this July for your planning purposes. Registration is now open! 

• All camps will be run by PRSC's professional coaching staff.

• Each session will include speed and conditioning activities, technical skill work, and a tactical component.

• Topics will include ball control and dribbling, 1v1 attacking, short and long passing, and shooting.

• We will create a fun and competitive learning environment for all players. Players will be grouped by age and ability.
