Job Title: Travel Program Coordinator, PRSC Travel Program

Job Classification: Non-Exempt

Supervision: PRSC Director of Coaching and Travel Program Directors

Job Summary:

The PRSC Travel Program provides a competitive soccer program for local players interested in elevating their soccer skills. The Travel Program Coordinator provides administrative assistance to facilitate overall program operations as directed by the Director of Soccer (DOSO) and approved by the Board of Directors. In this role the Travel Program Coordinator will focus on creating an exceptional experience for our customers, players, coaches and staff. The program has been experiencing a great deal of growth, and the Tarvel Coordinator should bring a customer mindset and an enthusiasm for the game and the club as we expand our offering to the community and our players.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalency; College degree preferred

  • Experience in youth sports organizations preferred

  • Candidates must pass a criminal background check, complete SafeSport training, and be a US citizen or hold permanent resident status

  • Demonstrated experience in organizational skills, managing multiple projects and possess a customer focus mindset

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as point of contact for inquiries regarding Travel Program

  • Work with Director of Soccer Operations (DOSO) and Board of Directors to manage Travel Program communications

  • Coordinate the planning and administration of tryouts, including promotion

  • Coordinate player registration for Travel Program

  • Lead and oversee travel team registration for leagues and tournaments

  • Lead scheduling of indoor and outdoor training working closely with Director of Soccer Operations (DOSO) and travel coaches 

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of PRSC sponsored activities, such as camps, clinics and academy sessions as directed by Travel Directors

  • Respond to parent, player and coach inquires quickly and accurately

  • Attend Travel Committee and league meetings as required

  • Coordinate tryouts, yearly meetings, travel tournaments and other critical club events.

  • Perform administrative work and assist with club activities as directed by Travel Directors

  • Work closely with all PRSC Board of Directors and Director of Soccer Operations (DOSO) to foster a positive environment for learning, growth and sportsmanship
