There’s still time to register for the local Park Ridge Clinics but you’ll need to hurry. Registration for both Assistant Referee and House League Referees are still open.

We offer local training sessions for youths and adults, held here in Park Ridge with on-field assistance. New officials have an opportunity to make $20 to $30 per game.

Information for the 2024 Soccer Referees and Assistant Refereestraining sessions is now posted on the PRSC website - www.prsoccer.com. Click on the “TRAINING” link under the “REFEREE” header at the top of the main page.

The Assistant Referee (AR) training is targeted for 7th graders. It is an ideal entry into soccer officiating. New ARs will be assigned line responsibilities for U-8, 9, and 10 travel team home games.

The New House League Referee training is targeted for 8th graders, high school students, and adults. New referees will be assigned age-appropriate House League games.

After you have chosen your option, download and complete the PRSC Referee Registration Form (the link is also on the Training page), and email the completed form to Jerry Aulisio – jaulisio@comcast.net

High School students or adults looking for a greater challenge may instead choose to take a USSF First Time Grassroots Clinic. This training is offered by U.S. Soccer in association with the Illinois Soccer Referee Committee. Certification through this program provides eligibility for higher level assignments as both an Assistant Referee for travel teams and as a House League referee. This training program is not a offered locally. However, information about the USSF certification is also available under the Referee Training link on the PRSC website.

For questions on any of these clinics, please contact the RefereeProgram Coordinator - Jerry Aulisio, 312-246-8850, or email – jaulisio@comcast.net
