Park Ridge Soccer Club Community:

I am delighted to inform you that on behalf of the board, we are excited to introduce you to Almir Hot, our incoming Director of Soccer Operations (DOSO). Almir will join us officially in June 2023. 

Many of you may have met Almir during his time coaching for the club in the past and we feel lucky to welcome him back! For those of you who don’t know Almir, Almir was born and raised in Serbia and has played soccer for as long as he can remember. He played soccer in both Serbia and Germany before coming to the United States in 2003. He was a college athlete at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, winning the National Championship with his team. 

When he moved to Chicago with his now wife, he played for Chicago Storm. He then moved to coaching right away, coaching with various clubs and the US Professional Development League. He currently holds his USSF C license.  He and his wife have three children and have recently moved to Park Ridge. Almir’s passion for soccer and love of the game is infectious.

As he rejoins the PRSC community, Almir is excited to focus on club development, teaching life lessons through soccer, teamwork, responsibility and thinking about others. In his own words, “I can’t wait to get started, to meet the members of the community, hear their feedback and make PRSC the best club!”
