2010 FUTSAL Training:  Park Ridge Travel Soccer is happy again this year to provide Futsal training. 

For those of you who are not familiar with Futsal, originally called "hall football," Futsal is played on a hard court surface with lines as boundaries- walls or boards are not used.  Futsal is also played with a smaller ball with less bounce than a regulation soccer ball. This creates an emphasis on improvisation, creativity, and technique as well as ball control and passing in small spaces.

For our Futsal training sessions, we will play three on three, with trainers sometimes joining in but doing little formal coaching.  We let the game be the teacher.  All involved get many chances on the ball and a fine workout.

Futsal will be held on Saturday (boys) and Sunday (girls) afternoons at Franklin school from January 9 through March 14.

There is an additional fee for this ten-week session of $75 to pay for the cost of the gym time and trainer time.

4:30 – 5:30 Girls U9-11
5:30 – 6:30 Girls U12-U14
