Dan Reardon has been chosen by the Mentoring Committee as Park Ridge Referee of the Year. Dan has been an official in our program for the last 6 years and has done a great job for us in that time. He will be attending college at Penn in the fall and plans to get assignments there when he arrives. Dan's presence here in Park Ridge will certainly be missed.
Past Referees of the Year include Eric Greve, Kyle Hannon, Chris Blankshain, Albert Gaudyn, Paul Cwik, Krista Porterfield, Chris Flynn and Michael Telwak. This is an annual award and is determined by a vote of the Mentoring Committee.

Referee of the Year Award
The PRS Referee of the Year Award is given annually to a graduating high school senior who has demonstrated commitment and excellence as a soccer official. The award is determined by a vote of the PRS referee mentoring committee and is based on:
• Commitment to Park Ridge soccer, demonstrated by serving as a referee for house league games and/or assistant referee for club games, for a minimum of four years, including the candidate’s senior year. Officiating at the Park Ridge Memorial Day Tournament is a further indication of commitment to Park Ridge soccer.
• Growth as a referee, for instance, demonstrated by officiating higher level games and achieving USSF certification. • Performance on the field, determined through evaluation by members of the PRS referee mentoring committee.
