If your child will be trying out for the Park Ridge Soccer Travel Program for the 2010-2011 season and you would like to volunteer to be a coach( PRS Coaching Expectations ), PRS coaching applications are due by May 1, 2010. Please complete the application and submit it to the appropriate Travel Director (see below). The applications will be reviewed and coaches selected by the PRS Travel Committee prior to the PRS tryouts.
The PRS Travel program relies on parent volunteer coaches. Whether you’re an existing travel coach, house coach, or not currently a soccer coach at all, if you would like to participate in this fun and rewarding experience, we encourage you to apply. PRS provides plenty of support for new coaches. PRS provides training opportunities for coaches and each team is assigned a professional trainer who will assist with defining and executing the training program. The head coach can also enlist other volunteer parents to help with administrative tasks.
