We will begin summer training on Mondays, starting on 7/11 at 6:30pm at Woodland Park. Please bring a ball, shin guards, and water. I am looking forward to starting a great season.

Fall 2011 Girls Premier Registration Announcement

This message is going out to those who have been rostered on PRS Girls Premier team for the Fall 2011 season.

Congratulations on making the team and thanks for your support for the PRS Premier program. Your support helps make our program strong and ensures a great experience for our kids.
We will be having a registration meeting on Friday, June 10, at the PRS Office on 674 Busse Hwy (past Burger King on that side of the road) from 6:30 pm to 8:00 p.m. to take care of a few administrative details that need to be handled to finalize your registration in the Premier program.

• All players – please fill in the IWSL player information sheet and medical waiver forms (attached) and bring them to the registration night.

• Returning Premier Players – All we need from you is the check for $575 made out to Park Ridge Soccer for the participation in the program.  We will be using the same uniform kits as last year, but if you need any extra uniform pieces or PRS spirit wear, you will also need a check for the uniforms.

• Travel Players who have not played Premier before – You will also need a check for the $575 plus a check for the uniforms.  The complete kit is around $85, but it will depend on what extras, if any, you buy.

• Players who have not played travel or premier – In addition to the checks for the PRS fees and uniforms, you will need to provide a proof of age (photocopy of a birth certificate or passport) and we will need to take a digital photo of you for your player’s pass.

UPCOMING DATES:
Weekly summer training will begin on July 12 and the coaches for the Premier teams will be announced around that time. Parents are always welcome to observe training sessions.  Some time closer to the start of the season, we will be having a specific parent night at training where coaches will discuss their approach for the upcoming season and be available to answer questions.  Details will follow.

We are working on determining which Fall tournament to participate in and will announce that shortly.

Fall season starts on Sunday, September 11.  Schedules will be posted on the IWSL website some time in August.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED: 
Although our Premier teams are all led by professional trainers who make all the soccer decisions and run all training sessions, we are looking for individuals on each team who can work with the trainer to handle team admin functions such as communications to the team, tournament registrations, game cards, etc.  Time and effort would be minimal, but it is a good way to contribute to your child’s soccer experience.  If you are interested in being a team manager, please contact me at:  .
