Game Changes – Fields, Referees, and Assistant Referees Arbiter systemArbiter is an Internet based system (www.arbitersports.com) used by PRS to schedule fields, center Referees, and Assistant Referees for PRS games. We, Marty and Jim O’Donnell, will schedule center Referees, in addition to Assistant Referees, for home travel soccer games starting the 2010 fall season. Each team can have one or more Team Contacts who can be entered into Arbiter by Jim or Marty. When teams need to request game changes, Contacts can search the Master Schedule in Arbiter for open fields and send requests to us (see detailed instructions below). This is the first step in requesting a game change and must be followed for all home games no matter which team home or visiting) is requesting the change so we can maintain an accurate field schedule. Once game changes have been made by us in Arbiter, Arbiter will send e-mail confirmations to Team Contacts, notifying them that requested changes have been made. Signing into the systemYou (Coaches and Team Contacts) will shortly receive an e-mail from Arbiter telling you how to sign in. Once you sign in you will be asked to change your password and then your home screen will appear. It would simplify our lives greatly if you would click the Profile tab at the top of the home screen and fill in your personal information. Note there is a link for phone numbers on the left of your profile screen – here you can enter as many numbers as you wish (home, cell, etc. – please put your preferred number first). Viewing your team scheduleClick on the Schedule tab on your home screen. On the right of the next screen, there is a number that represents how many games you have in the system. Click on this number. Your schedule will come up. Click on “Slots” to view who the center Referee and AR’s are for your game. Checking for an open fieldClick on “Master Schedule” on the Schedule screen. Using the filter boxes at the top, select the date and field you are interested in. Click “Go” and you will get a list of all the games scheduled on that field on that date. Requesting a change• Have Arbiter open to the Master Schedule when you call the opposing coach. Find an open date/time/field and agree on the change. Game #726 Once a game change has been made, you will be notified by Arbiter via e-mail of the change. At that time you need to process your game change with your League. Procedures for game changes varies by league and by reason for change. See your division coordinator for instructions.
