Code of Conduct for Park Ridge Soccer
Soccer is a game; it should be fun. Children play soccer to improve their skills, for excitement, to be with friends, to make new friends and to be part of a team. In your role as a soccer parent you have duties and responsibilities. You are responsible to help your player understand the meaning of success. Winning is not everything. Improving skills, both personally and as a team, giving maximum effort and striving to do one’s best are all measures of success.
As a soccer parent, I am responsible for my own behavior and the behavior of my players. Under no circumstances will I participate in the following behaviors or allow my players to do so:
1. Blame a loss on a player, referee, parent or spectator.
2. Belittle or demean a player, referee, parent or spectator.
3. Curse or swear at a player, referee, parent or spectator.
4. Push or strike a player, referee, parent or spectator.
