Park Ridge SC's travel program is open to anyone interested in the challenge of competitive soccer.

Players U8-U12 play for Park Ridge SC. Players U13 and older play for Premier SC. Park Ridge SC and Premier SC are part of the same family. Park Ridge SC focuses on player development and technical excellence. Building on that foundation, Premier SC focuses on the tactics of playing 11 v 11 to prepare players for high school and college soccer.  Our Premier SC players continue club soccer in our high school program-- see the Premier HS tab for further information.

Who coaches PRSC teams?
All PRSC coaches are professional coaches who hold United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and/or National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) licenses.  The coaches are experienced in coaching younger players, and many have playing experience at the collegiate, semi-professional, and professional levels.  Coaches undergo a thorough hiring process that includes interviews, supervised training sessions, references and background checks. 

What are the PRSC expectations for players and families?                    
Players should come to training and games on time and be prepared to work hard. We expect good sportsmanship and respectful conduct at all times. Parents should be encouraging and positive on the sidelines and allow the coaches to coach the team. 

When are tryouts?
Tryouts for our U8-U15 teams are held in late May each year.  The details for the tryouts are available under the tryouts tab.

What do my Travel Program fees include? 
Your fees include pre-season camp, the Fall and Spring league seasons, two tournaments, and winter training. During the fall and spring outdoor seasons, each team practices twice weekly with a professional coach and we offer All-Club training on Fridays focused on technical skill development. 

Where will we travel for games?
For younger teams (U8-U10), the leagues focus on regional divisions. Most games are within a 30-minute drive. Divisions for older teams are based more on competition levels and may require longer travel. Most games are within a 45-minute drive. Each team plays half of their league games at our home fields in Park Ridge and half away within the Chicagoland area. Your coach and team manager will communicate the schedule and location for all games.

What about tournaments?
Your fees include two local tournaments a year that are selected by PRSC. Our teams may also participate in Cup tournaments offered by the state soccer association.
