PRS Code of Conduct - Parents

Soccer is a game; it should be fun. Children play soccer to improve their skills, for excitement, to be with friends, to make new friends and to be part of a team. In your role as a soccer parent you have duties and responsibilities. You are responsible to help your player understand the meaning of success. Winning is not everything. Improving skills, both personally and as a team, giving maximum effort and striving to do one’s best are all measures of success.

As a soccer parent, you are responsible for your own behavior and the behavior of your players. Under no circumstances can you participate in the following behaviors or allow your players to do so:

1. Blame a loss on a player, referee, parent or spectator.
2. Belittle or demean a player, referee, parent or spectator.
3. Curse or swear at a player, referee, parent or spectator.
4. Push or strike a player, referee, parent or spectator.

Our COACHES ARE VOLUNTEERS who may or may not have had soccer playing/coaching experience. PRS provides training and coaching clinics.
