Welcome players, parents and friends to the 2013 Spring Season of House League Park Ridge Soccer!

Our volunteer-driven organization of Coaches, Division Coordinators and Directors work hard to structure a program that provides the players a cost-effective, fun, safe, educational and competitive environment.

The Spring Season begins the weekend of April 13/14. Most teams will remain largely unchanged from Fall 2012 Season, with players wearing the uniforms issued to them in Fall. New players will be assigned to teams based upon Fall team attrition and / or Division expansion. It is not an easy task for our Division Coordinators to balance teams, taking into account multiple variables as well as special requests. Yet each season our DCs do a marvelous job, and continue to serve throughout the season as a conduit between the coaches, players, parents and PRS administration.

As an affiliate of the Park Ridge Park District, we utilize PRPD fields and work with Park District staff to keep the soccer fields in good physical shape, well-lined and goals secured. PRS monitors field conditions and retains the right to cancel practices and / or games to rest fields from over-use or damage caused by inclement weather conditions. Player safety is always a foremost concern for us at Park Ridge Soccer.

House League Soccer utilizes a team of referees comprised largely of teenagers from the Park Ridge Niles community. The referees under-go a formal training program and are mentored throughout the season by PRS Referee Staff. Players, parents and spectators are asked to be supportive of the referees, allowing them to officiate in a supportive environment.

The coaches who volunteer their time, talent and resources to educate and encourage your children are at the core of our success. They are community parents who generously give of themselves and inspire our kid’s to play as a team, teaching them the wonderful game of soccer and other valuable life skills.
